Lankshear and Knobel's article was a long but informative article. Reading this article I found a lot of information I wasn't aware of and a few things that I was.The article seemed to be an old versus new in the technology world. You have two views one seems like the world is just like it used to be with minor adjustments . Then you have the other point of view that says in today's world it is very different then a few years back. I think they both have valid points, i feel like a lot of the technology we have today merged from great ideas we had before, for example a typewriter to a computer. But i think that the technology is so advanced that it may seem foreign to some people and they may feel like we have changed so much more then they were accustomed to. So I do agree technology has come a very long way and I do agree that a lot of the technological advances we have now came from simple ways or ideas they had 10 or 20 years ago.

Old people always feel like the new technolgies are foregin. I think it's kinda funny and cute at the same time. What are you going to do for the Wiki project?? Any idea?? Maybe you want to post something about a new technology and how older generations utilize it compared to younger ones, idk just a thought. Post your ideas, even if you're not sure. The class will give you feedback, some people have really good tips : )
